Fogged Out

Left home at first daylight hoping to catch some photos as the fog lifted off the Sods exposing the hillsides of color. After 5 hours of slogging through the mist I concluded the fog was not going to clear up today. Best I could do (click to expand).

Sunset on the Sods

Hiked up to the ridge last night as the sun was setting. Got there just a bit too late as the setting sun went behind a cloud bank. Hope to try again soon, but until I do these will have to do (click to expand).

Fall Arrives

Last night's temps dipped below freezing accelerating the transformation of the greens of summer to reds and golds of fall (click to enlarge).

Over Achiever

I went up on the ridge this afternoon to take a few images of clouds and such.

Tucker patiently sat alongside me as a kept taking image after image of the sky. Eventually he began to whimper...until I turned the camera on him...and then he sat patiently...striking one pose after another. Such a glory hound. (click to enlarge)

Seeking Refuge

Turned off the news this morning and spent some quite time on the local Refuge.
