A gas transmission pipeline runs through the backcountry. The designers must have loved skiing because they ran it right up and over the highest peak around allowing for a good deal of fun when the conditions are right. To access it one rides a ski lift - treks through a forest - then climbs a few hundred feet to the top before skiing down 2ooo vertical feet in about a mile and a half.

Reaching the peak.
Before the initial decent.
First turns.

Self portrait (the nice turns on the right are mine).
Things get a bit more interesting.
A serious decent.
Looking back up.
The run out at the bottom requires a bit of dodging around briers.
