I've been quite busy with a variety of activities of late and not able to spend much time with photography. I stole a bit of time this afternoon and slipped up onto Dolly Sods to check out this year's blueberry crop. Plump. Juicy. And ready for pickin'. The weather was humid and threatening to storm so I pulled out my camera to squeeze off a few shots before heading for cover.
Pretty, but nothing special.
Ditto.
Tried to capture a bit of contrast with these rocks and developing storm.
The last blooms of this year's mountain laurel.
Ah, here's something interesting. A shot through a rock cluster towards a distant set of trees.
I turned around and found Tucker perched on a rock looking over the headwaters of Red Creek. The dog does like to pose.
As soon as I finished taking these pictures he bounded down and we headed for home.
